There are so many paths to success.

My version of tippy toe through the tulips is a Bull in a China shop. I AM ALL GAS. I LIKE TO TWIST THE THROTLE.

Call it what you want, but my method of getting my body to use my fat as fuel and to drive the numbers down on the scale is (water / coffee / wine and nuts -- the chesgreen method.)

Calorie in Calorie out - Stop trying to preach that to me - If it worked for you BRAVO!!!! ( I averaged 2153 calories during Feb 1 - 14, 2020, was exercising and the scale kept going up. The CICO camp would preach lower your calories or move more. [[MADNESS]] The more I exercised, the more carbs I went for, the more the scale went up. Not because I over ate calories. A better, personalized adjustment, would have been to lower my carb intake. So glad I logged )

Feb 22, 2020, I ran 2 5Ks 2 hours apart that were unplanned. I ran the 1st 5K (planned), came home and changed my clothes and ran another 5K(My energy was though the roof so I had to get back out there and run. I am glad I used my personalized method two days prior. I never in my life ran 2 times in one day and this was in winter to boot. 34 degrees was the high for that day)

Fast Forward Feb 2021, I am learning to control my refeeds and will continue to push on. I will cycle carbs, cycle eating windows as this worked and is working best for me. M

The image of the weight numbers Feb 19 - 24, 2021, show it was easier for me to FAST the [chesgreen method] to drive that weight down quickly.

Instead of trying to out run the fork, I will just put it down and keep going with my rules.

As a cico girl ( and don't misunderstand, I don't care what you do) I would never have told you to eat less. I would have thought you were building muscle with your gain. Is it you that carries the huge bags of something? I can't remember. Anyhow - hope you find what works!

Hey HCB, Lonni, draglist and David'sp - I'm just wrapping up an amazing night with family. Both my parents, in their 70s and my sister and BIL came over for dinner. We had veal, zucchini, rice, cherry pie, beer, wine, potato chips and after they left, I cleaned up an the pots, pans and loaded up the dishwasher. Now, I'm winding down the night with fudge, popcorn and wine gin and ginger ale. I will step for in the gym tomorrow for the fist time in 12 months just because. Tomorrow evening, I'll have plenty protein and veggies and drop the carbs to the floor as I have no intentions for activities that require nigh levels of carbs for the next few days. Thanks for the support. I've watched, enjoyed, and supported your ways and will keep it going!!
