I broke my Atkins Induction on the 13th. That day particularly, I felt extremely light headed and some trouble breathing as well. I attended a fertility conference, and ate like a bird. Barely anything, and even what I had put on my plate- I left quite a bit of that, and especially desserts. Induction really does kill the sweet tooth.

However, when I came home I asked my mom to make me kichri, and I had a good 2 plates of that (or actually, 1 regular sized plate with zero fat youghurt) and that was extremely satisfying. I skipped swimming though, and I didnt go for gym. Just couldnt bring myself to go, I really didnt feel good.

In the morning I woke up with my face and neck drenched in sweat. But I felt good for the rest of the day. I had intended to get my FBS checked on my way to the second day of the conference. But that really freaked me out.

My FBS turned out to be really high. Below pre-diabetes...but still pretty high for someone who is 25years old. My dad is in pre-diabetes at the moment.

So my FBS at 7hours fasting was 97. But I needed 1 more hour fasting to have a proper reading for fasting. I took another FBS at 11hrs fasting and it was 94. A small relief. Stil, a lot of studies conducted with patients who had FBS above 85 suggest that their chances of going into prediabetes was 3x more than normal.

I did a 2hour postprandial RBS after eating some kichri and low fat youghurt. Alhamdulillah...:D my RBS was 86. Pretty awesome.

So I bypassed today's blood tests. No blood tests for me insha Allah. I had to do CBC as well, but I'll do that when I'm getting my coagulation profile done later.

I have 1/2 a month left to lose weight till I am 52kgs insha Allah.

I had a variety of diets to choose from, but I opted that anything that didn't contain meat was going to be my first option >.< well DUH. I was kinda fed up of eating so much meat.

Yesterday, I ate so much, I ate so much that today I am on intermittent fasting. Alhamdulillah, my bowel habits have regularized a bit. I'm going to wait till maghrib- or a little earlier than that to snack on something, but I haven't decided yet what to eat. I have got some low fat laban in the fridge though. Need to keep an hour's gap between eating and working out at the gym.

My mom's made some vegetables. I think I'm coming to combine that with shish tawooq and olives.

I'm too chicken to weight myself. The best way for me to gauge when it is safe to weigh myself is looking at my belly. When its bloated, I tend to avoid the scales. Although, I often weigh the same. But after being on 2 non diet days, I think I'm better off not demotivating myself. I'm going to weigh myself day after tomorrow most probably, after I've decided a good enough diet for me to juggle with the gym. I dont want to lose protein mass. I want to burn fat. Thats seriously the only way to keep it off permanently. Insha Allah.
