Thank you. I have no intention of stopping just yet, but wondering if I need to change something. I ve been going on 800 calories per day for just over a month and exercising three or so times a week. I have seen some great results within that time, but it this past week the weight is not shifting or shifting in a wrong direction, not by much only a couple of hundred grams, but still it should be going down not up.

it will come off eventually just give it time just because it hasnt shifted within the week doesnt mean you havent lost , dont worry keep it up !

Is 800 a day too little? Is your body going into starvation mode? ( where you eat such a small amount your body worries it wont get much more and so it just saves everything as a security) Actually, starvation mode might be a myth! But always remember muscle weighs more than fat, so if you’ve done a bit more exercise, that will account for it!

@tryteytryagain I don’t really feel hungry, sometimes when I do I have a fruit for a snack. I never used to eat that much due to work, but I did use to fill myself with plenty of junk such as chocolate and all things sugar. These are the call prices I have cut out and replaced with healthy snacks. Other than that I eat a good variety of food including meat and fish. So not sure. Will see how it goes for the rest of the week and then might make some changes if need be.

have a couple of days at 1200 calories and then back to normal, you need to trick your metabolism into burning faster, also is 800 calories enough? my wife has a resting calorie requirement of 1400 calories a day

I want to take small step at the time as if it doesn’t work and does more harm than good, it won’t be to hard to get back on track
