Had to take my trusty bike to the repair shop today. The man had a look, IF I'm lucky it will only cost £100 and I get it back at the end of this week. IF . Apparently when I break a bike, I break it properly😂. On a mission today to go to all the neighbours, to see if they have an extra one I could borrow until I get mine back. Fingers crossed!

Duno if this helps but what about ur local council? The guys who do all the grass cutting and planting here are always finding old bikes, they do them up and sell them on or give them away. Maybe u have some sort of upcycle/recycle place near u? Hope u get something soon ♥️

Thank you I'll have a look into that! A kind neighbour has offered her town bike with no gears, which I couldn't accept😔. Have fluid in both my knees, with the hills I have on the route, I'd make it to work once and have to walk the bike back. I'll bus it for now and cross my fingers that the mechanic is super quick and all the parts are available.
