A pretty laid back day today. Put a few ornamental glazing balls out in the yard for DW. Made a run to WalMart for some cat food and treats, and Taco Bell. I would have been content to wait until we got home to eat something, but DW wanted to go to Taco Bell for lunch. I got the Crunchwrap Supreme without the sour cream, which is probably kind of dumb since it's probably the sour cream that makes it a supreme. However, I can't stand sour cream; I think it tastes like it's already been eaten once. Still, all in all, I was doing pretty good for the day. Then ate leftover tater tot casserole. The cheese is not a friend to those trying to cut down on calories. Still, all in all again, the day was not a loss - yet. Then DW says that she sure would like to have some ice cream. Yep, you guessed it, yours truly goes to the local convenience store and picks up two pints of Blue Bunny: Cookies and Cream for her, and Strawberry Shortcake for me. This day was destined to be a bust. Anyway, I'm thinking a pint is still a better option than picking up a half gallon and throwing caution to the wind. So, I'm almost done with my pint, when I decide to read the ingredients. Of course, this does a lot of good afterwards. Four servings! What! 4 servings: for what species? Anyway, that puts me right around my RDI for the day - but not great for someone wanting to lose 10 pounds a month.

Now, after indulging in all this food today, I know it's late, but I've got to salvage something out of the day. So, I still do my workout on the treadmill like a good little boy. I'm beat, but not beaten. Tomorrow is another day, and another opportunity to kick the fat monster's a$$. Well, I am tired and I'm going to retire, so everyone have a wonderful evening and a better day tomorrow. Toodles!

Some days are just full of temptations... I guess yesterday was just one of those days or you.... BUT, at least you did your workout and I bet you will be more disciplined today :-)

I had a bad day yesterday as well - but don't despair - lets pull ourselves out of the wreckage!

Ya gotta love those little pints of ice cream! I agree... how on Earth do they expect 4 servings? It's a joke, right? I bet when they put that nutritional label on it... they were laughing their heads off! :) I am proud of you for logging in your food. That is how it starts... getting familiar again with what we are putting in our bodies. Keep up the journaling. :)

LOLOL. Hope you enjoyed your Blue Bunny. Odd name. Good work on the treadmill. And you're right -- tomorrow is another day, DK. And I hope it's a spectacular one.
