I applaud your decision and do not wish to dissuade you in any way.
However, I am very sceptical of the BMI as sole measure for potential weight related health risks. There are numerous scientific studies (quick Google research will show) that tear the oversimplified method to shreds.
One study found that the vast majority of people labelled 'overweight' and 'obese' according to current definitions do not in fact face any meaningful increased risk for early death. In a quantitative analysis of a number of studies, involving more than 600,000 men and women, the lowest mortality rates were found for people with BMIs between 23 and 29; most of the 25–30 range considered 'overweight' was not associated with higher risk.
Sorry for the rant, just wanted to point out that the NHS/insurance obsession with BMI might at times be detrimental to a person's health 🤷♀️😊

BMI is just one way of measuring. Don't let it be your only measure. Weight, inches and how you feel are also important.

BMI is a lot off nonsense. It doesn’t take into consideration your bone density, muscle density etc. Don’t let numbers grind you down. It’s all about how you feel. 👍

If I paid attention to the bmi chart I would be anorexic. I am going to get to a weight where I feel comfortable

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. On the downside my waist circumference is also 34.5 inches 😢
I am an emotional water and going through a lot of stress 😔
I need to find some positive ways of dealing with my stress and I'm going to make that a big priority.
