I kinda fell off the rails here for a minute! Our Vegas vacation was A LOT of fun, so much exploring and activities and the FOODS! We ate out for every meal, I can’t believe I didn’t gain more weight than what I did. I didn’t eat too bad though, no matter what I had gotten I could only ever eat half of my plate. We got home the night before thanksgiving day- more eating. In a 3 day period we had thanksgiving dinner, then we went out for a family celebratory dinner AND THEN we had our Christmas dinner together (Aunt lives in Hawaii and was only down for thanksgiving). LOTS of food. After thanksgiving I was still eating what I wanted, cheesecake from Costco, having 2nds, eating/snacking throughout the day instead of fasting. I really didn’t want to weight myself after this long binge, but I did and there was a 10 pound gain. I assumed most of those 10 pounds was water weight because that’s typically what happens. So back on my diet as of 2 days ago. I am really thankful I was able to recognize and then easily transition back into the need to continue my diet. In the last 2 days I’ve dropped 8 pounds (Pretty sure it’s all water weight) and I’m 2 pounds away from where I was when I left for vacation.
