Happy birthday to me.
With what food will I celebrate?.
I have cold mutton tongue slices jn the fridge, from my last three sheep. I will make something of some of my own home grown Hereford beef mince feom the freezer, and no doubt have several of my own chicken's eggs. What better than to eat from animals I have loved and cared for, helped be born, and killed, who never lad any illnesses and who were happy and lived and died on my land. I know their names, and I give them thanks. In eating them and from thwm they become part of me and my energy and we are at one. I carry them in me and my memories with me. They are my firends forever.
Surely this is the BEST way to eat. I am so privileged.

Such a shame that most people don't get this, even farmers. I have never yet met or spoken to anyone who gets it. What sad times we live in.
