The 'solution' for me is to *binge less days*. Yes, I would like to "not binge at all" but, until that day (never) comes, I will continue to try to limit the binging days. This week I limited it to half a day. I'm only up 2 pounds for the week, holding onto a 3 pound 'net loss' for the week. Had I binged even two days, I would have erased the entire loss for the week. When I look back at the periods where I lost the most, those were the periods where I stayed on the diet the most days in a row.

You have had some much success. Do not make arbitrary goals that set yourself up for failure. Celebrate what you have achieved when your friend comes
