I’ve been doing too much exercise to build my shoulders and chest which was working but this was a error because I should have been aiming for fat loss which my goal was meant to be to lose 10kg by may so instead I’m heavier so now this is day 2 of calorie control weight went down 0.6kg yesterday which is a good start

I’ve been working on my abs/waistline. There’s definition now... under the flab lol. I’m hoping for better results with weight next week! 😘

I feel the 2 types of diet fight against each other even though I am gaining ground building up strength it’s hampering my fat loss like other people who have reached their goal I will aim for fitness then

But you are improving your metabolism which can only help with both losses and maintaining

Try incline walking on treadmill my PT says it’s best for burning fat / without losing much muscle .. try incline 6.5 at 6.5 speed .. I usually do 45 mins .. it will defo make you sweat 😓

I can do both but my priority at the moment is fat loss

I was walking 2 hours both incline and decline didn’t help but thanks for the input

Fat loss may not be best measured on a scale.

500 calorie a day deficit will result in 2llb a week weight loss.

I’m just worried about weight loss until may then I will go to see my niece in Ibiza for all of may and see what I have to do when I get home

Gary, I’ve been using my ab wheel, doing squats, the plank and torso/waist twists. I do some sit ups but I’m not great at them lol 😘

Building muscle is not a lost effort as it will raise your metabolism level, hence burning more energy. Think however of also training the legs and back, not only the 'visible' muscles, the ones you see in the mirror.
