abbadabba's Journal, 09 Jun 10

Eating well, hanging out as well as I can - sad to say, I have friends who can sympathize with my situation because they are in the same divorcing position, so we have been talking/commiserating. Slow progress.

I guess I have to be glad I am keeping up with healthy eating, even though I haven't seen a big drop in weight.

Let's keep plugging away, I guess! Tomorrow is my daughter's graduation and all the stress that entails - my mom with my ex for example is a tough mix! Luckily both daughters will be home and older daughter is bringing her boyfriend who is very nice. We'll go out for food, maybe Japanese?

Hope you have a good Wednesday and Thursday!

Yes indeed congratulations. Mixing family can be stressful. Lord knows I've had enough of that lately!! I hope all goes smoothly for your daughter's sake. Japanese food sounds wonderful. It's been awhile. You are doing fine ... takes time to mend ... practice kindness towards yourself. You are worth it!

Hoping the good family interactions overwhelm the potentially bad ones. Happy graduation to your daughter. Plugging away and eating healthily is not a bad thing. It means you're really on the "lifestyle" track and not just a quick diet. It means you can maintain.

Moose said it all Abb "Practice Kindness Towards Yourself." Congratulations on the Graduation and find the JOY within to ENJOY yourself. {{{{{hugs&kisses}}}}}

Hi Abba, how did the graduation go? Things go smooth or ???? I am divorced and it was not pretty, but time heals. Be patient with both the divorce and the weight loss. Both will improve with time. Be strong. We women rule!!!
