ARB0001's Journal, 04 Nov 16

I suspect it is probably the wrong sort of loss this time - ie water or muscle - I don't think I've enough of a deficit for it all to be fat.

But I feel able to manage it anyway, I can always move the exercise routine up a notch sometime ahead, I slowed it down (a lot) because I was trying to reduce the loss rate to something a bit nearer what my skin can handle, I knew the consequence might be that some of that calorie burning muscle would be more vulnerable to the calorie-furnace.

And I don't think there's been a size change that drastic this week, so I guess my cunning plan is working even if I do feel a bit like Baldric.

Yeah hopefully part two of the plan works as well as part one.
80.5 kg Lost so far: 37.4 kg.    Still to go: 17.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 2.1 kg a Week

Don't need a dramatic change ARB. You are consistent. Take care and have a good Weekendâś”

Thanks buddies, I wasn't saying I wanted it to be more, for me its actually faster than I want it to be - and faster than I'd want anyone else to be. Maybe I'm on the wrong boat, but I do think 2lb is the max per week loss that the body can handle, and even then not relentlessly. I seem to be going faster than I want to be, I've said before - but this particular loss I do also think its not what it seems - and I wouldn't want people to be thinking 'she's starving herself for +4lb a week loss I want +4lb a week loss too' that's totally not what I'm doing or trying to do.

That's really sensible thinking and talking, ARB. We all lose (or not) at different rates and by different means. This isn't the place to be competitive, just supportive. We all have our strengths and weaknesses so sharing experiences and chatting is the way forward, not the "whine, whine, whine she had a chocolate bar and still lost five kilos overnight" crap that we see sometimes. It's great to share methods of losing but not everyone has an iron will, or doesn't work so can workout for five hours a day, or can resist sugary fizzy, or can walk past wine/beer, or whatever. We support each other to hopefully look at ourselves and gain an inner strength. All the best!
