4th day on 18:6 IF Challenge. Doing it Induction style so I don't feel crazy hungry. It's a real struggle but only doing it 7 days. Whew! I expect to lose a solid 2-3 lbs but have learned that the only way to really lose weight long term is with alot of patience (not my strong point) so any loss is a win : )

I gained all my weight on a 18:6 regime. Only works it you reduce your calories. I would go to work in the morning without eating, smoke instead of eat all day, come home at 5pm, have my dinner and whatever else I fancied, then supper before bed at 11pm. Did that for 20 odd years and the weight just built and built. If you only need 2000 calories then 3000 calories, whether eaten over 24 hours or 6 hours, will still see the weight pile on.

Thanks for sharing Jocko. I've been watching calories for 8 months and am sticking to low carb and at least 500 calories deficit a day. I agree, calories count. This is also just a way to challenge myself (and others doing the challenge). I'm no fan of it, that's for sure.
