I worked out my formula for weight loss quite some time ago, Cosiz. I know what I have to do............doing it is hard but knowing what works for me is super helpful.

Thanks, Chesty..............with age comes wisdom!! And creaky knees, bulging discs, tennis elbow etc etc.

Anne when if you are like me abused your body it breaks down very quickly

But, Chesty, the body also has amazing powers of recovery if you give it a chance!!

Thank you! I am down 6.7lb in 12 days so a start. Am eating low calorie with no "obvious" carbs (I know carbs are in fruit and veg etc, but no pasta, rice, potatoes or bread). Lots of protein and veg. Drinking lots more water and using my husband's spin bike. Can't lift weights currently due to a hysterectomy, but in one more month I will be able to. As predicted, harder to work out the app lol.

That is brilliant! Especially after such a big op. The spin bike is ace. I used my turbo trainer all through lockdown and really enjoyed it. No rush for the weights. Make sure you are properly recovered first.

Girls, I am not going to lie, it gets harder every year, but very satisfying to know that the body still responds to effort😁
