I ate what I should, left what I shouldn't and where the other way round will see me put on over 0.5 kg; the right way round I lose nothing. Ah well perhaps the scale will drop tomorrow.

Mini, you did the right thing, your body may just take a moment to adjust - mine does. If I cut down it thinks I'm joking and hangs around waiting for the next mouthful . . .

I got my percentages right and kept the carbs down. Hoping for tomorrow is to stop me from getting wound up about the scale today. Hubby tells me I weigh myself too much and he's probably right, but I like to weigh morning and evening. I will be keeping my percentages right today - maybe yesterday I didn't have enough fat - and I know that I 'should' lose some weight, but ...

I'd go with once a day, there will always be a big fluctuation between morning and evening and it's enough to stress-out anybody. So, stop fretting Mini, you know what you need to do, you just have to trust yourself to do it. I try to see it as a game - can I best my best? Last week I lost 1lb, let's see if I can lose 1.5lb this week - and after a few weeks it will become second nature. You can do it Mini, because you want to. And before anyone points out the hypocrisy of this comment, it's not. I fell down a bit because I have been doing this for months and months and got into a bad head-space, I'm back with a vengeance now and plan to lose at least 1.4lb this week. C'mon Mini, we'll do it together :)
