I am LCHF and what helps me is tracking all food. I weigh/measure everything and also watch calories. Some on this WOE don't have to but I am an overeater no matter HOW I'm eating. It helps me to see what I've been doing if I stall and where I might need to tweak...

Keep carbs under 20g a day, and eat moderate protein (50-75g). Your few carbs should come from leafy greens, and non-starchy vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower. Go for the fattier cuts of meat, for example chicken thighs with the skin on vs. skinless breast. Once you adapt to burning fat, you will probably find it impossible to overeat.
