JockoT's Journal, 12 Jan 16

I have been overeating so far this week. My old car has an MOT tomorrow so I am stressed and I never have a lot of self control when I am stressed.

Hey JockoT, how did the car get on, did it pass?

Yes, it passed. So today I felt like eating to celebrate! Friday we are getting work done in the house and the power will be off all day. Mrs T will bring in a hot pie and coffee for lunch so that won't be low cal. Ah well, there is always next week!!

Glad it passed JockoT. I hope you only *felt* like eating to celebrate. You know that's no real celebration... not if it causes distress later. Don't put off till next week what could be done today/tomorrow. There is still some of this week left. Start now. If you have to throw out Friday, because of the loss of power make it just Friday you throw caution to the wind. Tomorrow and the weekend are real opportunities to make it go the way you want dietwise. If you take that on board, by the start of next week you are three days ahead, rather than four days down. Great damage limitation tactic... use the opportunity, don't cave. I'm rootin' for you!

Thanks, Penlan. I'm kind of struggling just now. Tomorrow's weigh in will make me of break me.

Look at what you have achieved. Ok, so this week you hit a few speedbumps, but it shouldn't brake you. Keep on looking forward, don't look back at negatives, next week is ahead with plenty of time to focus on your goal.

JockoT I feel for you, I wish there was something I could do. It's true, you have done really well with your weight loss and it would be such a shame to lose the plot now. So, I am rootin' for you for an ok result. Please please, please try not to be too disheartened if it's not good news. I for one would be sad to see you go :)
