GRS58's Journal, 13 Nov 15

OMG! This site is really useful! Looking back at this weeks 'diet' ha ha ha, I can see that my diet consists of carbs and fats.
Time to concentrate on proteins I think.
Cut down on the fats and carbs and increase the proteins.
Now all I have to do is work out how to do that.
Any suggestions anyone?

Hi GRS58'S. When I started using "fatsecret" I was more concerned to document everything I eat and drink to see what is my daily balance between calories consumed and calories burned rather then try to change the quality of food. That led me automatically to eat less and to do more exercise on a daily basis. At a later stage, you can start improving the quality of food too. Hope that will help.

It depends on what kind of diet you want. I'd suggest starting to research what kind of diet you want (low cal, low carb, keto, IIFYM etc.) then working out what ratio's you want. Use a calculator like http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/. Google is you friend :)
