Soooooooooo hot today! Who says the UK doesn't get hot? hehe.
So very close to my calorie limit today and I could of quite happily have eaten more to be honest.Must be a slippery slope day but the brakes went on.Think it's because I'm tired.Bit of a heavy week at work.Think I need to batch cook again (not done in so long) so I can have some proper meals to just heat up for times like this.I can make low cal, low fat, instead of grabbing a sandwich, fish fingers etc just because they are quick and I've so worked up an appetite at tea time with working on higher demand, even when having afternoon snacks to keep me going.Think I need some nothing days to recoup.haha.One day......

As shattered as! Another busy day and when tired i tend to pick.still kept within my calorie allowance but did have a digestive biscuit and 2 eclair sweeties that a patients bought in to say thankyou.don't bother much with sweets etc these days but was nice.pleased that i knew whenenough was enough.this calorie counter is proving very helpful indeed.

So,here I am again and a good day it has been.A very busy day I may add.
Haven't felt hungry all day so didn't pick at all.
My theatre list kept me running up and down to pharmacy after each patient so was very active all morning. Think my brain burnt lots of calories in the afternoon too-very stressful trying to sort out a bed for a patient that should have been sorted out before the surgery-bed managers...ggrr!!
Knees are aching a bit today. For those that don't know, I used to get arthritic type aches in my knee joints and sometimes in my knuckles.Although never massively overweight (16/18 at my largest), my Drs just iterated the fact that I was a bit of a porky. I struggled with steps/stairs with the ache. I went back to the Drs who checked my Rheumatoid factor which was absolutely fine as I knew.
Upon starting my new post, I was chatting with a new colleague about it who mentioned that tomatoes may be the cause and as I was on a mission to lose weight, was having it in salads each lunch and following a lot of Slimming World recipes was eating a lot of tomato and tomato based products (most of their recipes have tomato in it, have a look, you will see).
I eliminated tomato from my diet (you would be surprised how much things you eat have tomato in it without thinking about it).Anyway, I did this for a month and had no aches (still extremely clicky knees but think that is the bain of most of my jobs).Accidently I had tomatoes again and there was the ache-hey presto, problem solved.
I read that it was to do with nightshade vegetables, although I seem fine with all others.
So, back to today, no tomatoes eaten but still achy like I had eaten them.Hopefully it was just the busy day that did it as I like my cycling and am building my running up and enjoy it.I do treadmill running as that is gentler and my joints feel so much better and lovely and warm after.
I am coming up for my challenge soon.Must write my list soon.

Journal entry between stitching my work trousers.gggrrr!
Well, today has been good diet wise and I feel very focussed.Had a lovely dinner of chicken fillet,a pocket cut in and a blob of light garlic and herb philly inserted and then 2 rashes of bacon wrapped around the filled fillet-obviously fat removed.Haven't had that for ages.Love it.Must be one of my faves actually.Maybe I should pop that in my recipe section on here.
Did not go to the gym today.I did however spend time mowing both lawns and trimming the bushes out front.
I may have a go on EA sports active before bed tonight on the step aerobic programme via my Wii.We shall see.

Well, I guess it reflects my week really.
I didn't go too mad with the calories mind but I do find it shows on me quite quickly and significantly.
I did a hell of alot of exercise this week, i.e-walking 12-13 miles in one day, running almost 5k a couple times but I guess what I ate outweighed that. Also my monthly week and as most women know you can put on a couple lbs in that week.
Next week, new week and carry on.
Oh and my ticker doesn't seem to work.I am sharing my weight but I know that on my buddies pages it says I am not :-(
