I normally feel invigorated after a day’s gym activity, but yesterday was not the normal anaerobic exercises. I was unexpectedly pulled into an aerobics class. That’s caused me to use muscles I don’t normally stretch, so a few aches today.

As I am not doing much at home today I thought I would do a write up on a rather tasty and beneficial health drink I like. Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar “With the Mother”.

Drinking apple cider vinegar daily has numerous health benefits such as lowering blood sugar, supporting weight loss, preventing indigestion reducing body acidosis and boosting energy. I like it as a diet aid, digestive and detoxing, refreshing drink.

In use it quickly put me in the ketone zone, (Fat burning zone) and as part of my daily “Low Carb High Fat” diet my excess body fat pounds started to fall off.

Drink one dilute glass just before each meal and notice the difference it makes. “With the Mother” seems a strange label; however it refers to the probiotic component of the drink, (That’s the sedimentary murk at the bottom of the bottle). Always shake the bottle before measuring out your table spoon or two doses into a glass of water.

To learn more about this amazing brew go online and watch anyone of the numerous videos already posted.

The best way to prepare it is in a 500ml tumbler; add two slices of lemon, two slices of lime and two slices of orange. Add four ice cubes and fill the glass to the top with sparkling spring water. Don't forget to stir.

The slices of fruit can be saved and used for the next drink, just squeeze the slices a little with a muddler.

I find it as refreshing as a 7up or can of Coke, but unlike a flavoured fizzy drink it’s a drink with benefits and no calories.

I've always found cider vinegar extremely acidic but I'm willing to give it a try. Need to buy some anyway as I saw on Facebook that if you mix a bottle with a scoop of Epsom salts and spray it on weeds it kills them in 24 hours. I hope this is true as I don't like spraying chemicals as I've got a cat.

Sorry about the double post. My internet is down and I can't delete one. I'm working on 3G on my mobile.

Hi Doobs, I have never tried it by itself, maybe the fruit slices I put in the glass mask the taste. Oh and don't forget to buy the version labeled, "With the Mother". I’ve always found the best treatment for a weed free lawn is Verdone diluted with water. Applied in the spring with a sprayer it will keep the lawn weed, daisy and buttercup free for one year. I believe the manufactures state that it is ok for pets once it has dried. It takes about three hours to dry on a warm sunny day. ;)
