Another lovely cold bright morning here. Only had a short 15 minute walk this morning as today is washing day. I will be up and down the 48 stairs to the communal laundry four or five times before it is done. That is enough exercise for me! So now the washing is started I can relax for half an hour or so.

Washing is done. So far my Fitbit is recording 19 flights of stairs for the day. I think I am making a rod for my own back with this washing. I just used to do it and bring it up. Then I started folding it. I then started putting my own stuff away. Today I put her clothes on hangers. I better stop before she has me doing the ironing.

Funny you should say that. We had pasta with chicken and ham in a Carbonara sauce, and I had it all prepared ready to heat and serve. Hardly cooking but it is about as much cooking as we do.
