Back at the pool. And I could feel every one of those extra pounds. Time to stop mucking about 😡😉🏊‍♀️

Week 1. 5 Goals : 1. Start recording again. 2. Cut out the Christmas extras as they are finished off. 3. 3x sessions strength training/stretch. 4. 2 short swims. 5. 2x 16/8 IF. Easy start 👌

I prefer to have a slow start when cutting back diet. I find that if I start a strict regime overnight it quickly becomes a drag. I try to let it happen naturally. Like how the weight crept on, it will creep off 🤞👍🏊💪

Oh, and I am changing weigh-in day from Friday to Monday. Trying to keep things interesting!

Well done Anne. Do you know what your calorie deficit is each day ? I am just starting out as you know and looking for goals. Happy New Year to you.

When I mean business I aim to consume 1500 calories a day. This is a deficit of 500. But that is hard for me. 1750 is easier. 250 deficit. I maintain at 1900. I call this a 'pure deficit' I don't take account of calories burned during exercise.

By that I mean I don't 'reward' myself with extra calories because I burned 'extra' calories at the gym/pool. Happy New Year to you too😁
