Post carb nite, so lots of water weight on there. I wasn't going to have one yet but I was so fatigued.... anyhoo, tried pushing myself by doing ten 24kg kettlebell swings every ten minutes or so. Got tired after 7 sets and stopped. Then I got my cluster dextrin out, chugged on that, waited a bit and started again. No problems. Did another three or four sets (I lost count :-)) But I did make some progress towards learning how to use CD correctly, it's a carb which fuels you but doesn't raise insulin levels so my interest is longer, harder weightlifting and cardio workouts without creating excess blood glucose in the process. I can't find literature about combining CN and CD so I'm my own experiment here.
