stunned wouldn't be the word. according to my scales I've lost 6.5kg that's nearly a stone. I'm so chuffed with myself. I'm not on a diet. I'm making a lifestyle change. small changes to make a lifetime of a difference. I'm so happy today.
118.7 kg Lost so far: 6.3 kg.    Still to go: 38.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

That’s the way to make it work! And as it gets closer to where your body naturally should be it’ll be a bit harder to get it off, but it means you’re doing it right!🤷🏻‍♀️ In my opinion.

When a larger person starts a sensible eating regime to lose weight, a large loss is correct for the first week. Well done for doing so well! Please do not be put off if you lose less per week as you continue your journey. Keep going. Well done.

I actually thought the scales were wrong but my dietician says because I have so much to lose I will lose it quickly at first. thank you all for your kind comments they are much appreciated. 😀

Gilly Fizzy it is because your body naturally burns calories in order for your normal bodily functions to occur.
