Nice going! And I hear that better sleep contributes to reduction in visceral fat. :-)

☺ Thank you. My next new goal is to consistently get 8 hrs of sleep a night....... it's been years since I've done that... ok tbh I've never gotten 8 hrs of sleep a night.

You need your sleep to calm the ghrelin and let the leptin hormones tell your brain you have had enough to eat. At 7 hours most of us have that. I notice when I get only 5 or 6 hours of sleep I want chocolate like a nagging craving instead of a normal I want chocolate because it tastes good. Sometimes due to lack of sleep I want potato chips. Those are a once a year New Years Eve treat where I eat all I want like a pig. I do not care what other people think as it is a once a year treat.Keep on fighting the good fight to your health goal.

Nicely done! Keep it up! I'm convinced that better sleep leads to better weight loss. The weeks where work has me up late and then up early I'm most likely to 'Stall', even if my eating pattern has remained the same. Someone recommend a tea made with camomile and valerian to get solid sleep?

I am finding sleep has been affecting a lot of health issues the last couple of years. I tried the magnesium for chocolate cravings - it never did work for me and I avoid Motrin / ibuprofen unless it's absolutely necessary.
