I have to lose about 40kilos, it's a lot but I've seen others do it. It's like learning to drive, I had a few lessons on and off throughout my life but never really bothered because there was always another way, like getting a bus or getting somebody else to take me. Then one day as I was looking at a really old lady driving her car I thought to myself what does she have that I don't have? And it was then I decided yes now is the time. I was 65 years old then and I took the lessons and pass my test first time, a very proud day for me.
Now I have another road to go down and that is to lose the weight that I have had carrying around with me for the last 30+ years.
I once lost 10 kilos doing the Akins diet just before I went to the USA to visit my sister.
Every day she would take me out and we were going to eat in restaurants where I sampled the delicious food; Mexican food, Italian food etc. When I got back home after only two weeks and weighed myself I discovered that those 10 kg I had lost, well I had found them again!
The lowest weight I have been in the last 5 years was 102k, my goal now is to get to 100k then make another goalpost until then I'm on a mission!

113.9 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 40 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
