Lol Don't despair jockot, you'll get there. Try not eating after 4 pm, that's what I do when the weight goes higher.

That's what discovering baking does for you ;-) Joking apart, it isn't the end of the world, Jocko. It seems to me that you just need to set yourself a goal and to stick to it. You were so good with your renewal of vows goal despite quite a few set backs. Maybe you have a weekend away coming up or a special evening out. You've researched loads into how to lose weight and you've done a great job in the past so don't get too despondent, just get back on track. Wishing you well and all the best for the future.

Starchy carbs - unfortunately they will do that to me too, which is why I only bake for special occasions.

NO! YOU WILL NOT HAVE A FUCK IT MOMENT. You have had a relaxed time after the vowel renewal but you must try and regain your control. Go back to what was working for you. Take time to go back through your diet calendar/journals and see where you were most successful. Focus on not regaining any more weight. You have been quite the refined carb monster recently haven't you? If this comment is too harsh then delete it but it comes from a place of support and concern. x

It is definitely the Carbs. They are like Heroin to me. Thanks to you all for your support. I am not in a great place at the moment.

Have you tried making low carb versions of sweet treats? For example if you replace wheat flour with Almond &/or Coconut flour. And sugar with Erythritol &/or Stevia for baking, you could still have your favourite baked goods but dramatically reduce the sugar & starch content!

My problem is I have only just been baking for a fortnight and I am afraid if I start messing with recipes it could all go pear shaped (cakes, not me). At least I know at the moment if it doesn't turn out it is not my ingredients. Best bet is to give up the baking and go back to the Xbox.

I feel your pain! Yesterday was a bad day for me, after 8 weeks I fell off the wagon with Lidle apple turnovers. Pecan danish AND white bread sandwich, but-these days are rare so put it out of your head now and let's get back on that wagon!!

Jocko..I'm not sure what to say.. Except I've been there and it's carbs that make me fall off the wagon every time.even a little bit is the gateway to disaster for me I second the advice to loook back at what worked before/set a target/read a new book that kickstarts your motivation We've all been there and are here to support you Refocus Now that you've renewed your vows , you both need to look forwards to many happy and healthy years together You can do it 🤗🤗

It's that baking Jocko. You need to figure out a lower carb way to do it! 🤷🏻‍♀️
