Enjoying my diet so far. Being realistic with what I can do and sustain for a lifetime has really helped.

I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all. If I want something, I eat it, but in small portions. Or I wait till I'm out with my friends to buy the dessert I want and share it with them. I get to bless my friends with some sweet treats, and we all go home with our waistlines intact.

It's important to spend a little time planning meals beforehand and adjust the food accordingly, and ensure that I always have vegetables and fruits in the fridge.

When I'm out shopping for a long time, I prepare a small pouch with snacks to keep me from getting hungry. It has really helped me to stay away junk. And of course, I always have a bottle of water with me, and refill on the go.

In terms of exercise, I did not get to fit in any workout last week. It was too hectic at work and I hardly got any sleep at all. But I did walk alot more during the workday, choosing stairs over lift etc...

I'm happy with the progress so far, but am not going to obsess over the number on the scale. My goal is to reach a healthy BMI and tone up. In this case, it would be more accurate to spot improvements via the mirror, and observe changes from there
