So no loss this week but I am happy with that as I had naughty weekend when It comes to food 😁 chippy take out and wonderful roast pork dinner with a LOT of crackling!! And some sweets.. I am not in a race so this is fine it will just take me bit longer to get into my new dresses and to reach my goal but 8t is not a problem as we need to enjoy life as well otherwise what's the point..

This week I learned an important lesson not to weigh myself every day as it can be very discouraging when you don't see a loss after a very good day! Once a week is more than enough to track the progress.

also need to remember to eat enough as I noticed if I cut out too many calories my body shoots down and my weight loss slows down.

I haven't noticed too much difference in what type of food I eat as long as I ensure that I eat less calories than I burn the weight comes off...

here's to another week and hopefully a loss x

Agree with you 100%, it is not a race, you need to take the long view to succeed, this is one of the lessons I had to learn, as do many 'dieters' there is no quick fix, no magic pill or secret formula. I also agree with enjoying yourself now and then, I had fast food 4-5 times last week and still lost my goal of 1lb or more, it is about not going over your RDI too often, this is the only thing that works without fail every single time, again, no special training required, no magic formula, simple straight forward this is my limit and I must try to stick with it for the most part. Agree also with eating enough, another mistake I made, would not eat brekkie or lunch properly, thinking I was doing well and then the evening came I would find myself in the binge zone and day blown, again. Just eat regular food regularly, as in, eat your brekkie and your lunch and your dinner, have a few treats and even some take away now and then and just try to keep your intake to no more than about 90% of your RDI and over the week and month, if you go over the top it won't make one bit of difference because your averages will override the little blips. that's what I do and even when I am convinced I have ruined my day or week, I just get back to it the next day and usually discover I have actually lost another half pound or more. I eat what I like, I just do not eat too much of it too regularly anymore. Mind you been to MDs twice today already...still not over my RDI though and got enough for a good dinner or couple of small snacks. You will be fine, get back to it and keep chipping away, 1lb a week is 3 1/2 stone one year...thats my aim, 1lb a week on average and it works, lost a stone now without dieting or diet food or a fancy plan, just straight forward mathematics. best wishes
