Happy Friday, the sun is out, the weather this weekend is suppose to be sunny, warm and beautiful. It will be a great weekend to celebrate Mothers Day with a picnic to those that are able to celebrate Mothers Day with those they love. I think my husband will probably take me out for breakfast and then off to church we will go. My son will be out of town working onset for a movie, My daughter works during the day until 4:00 and I have to go to work at 2:00. I'm sure she will stop in and say hello and give me a hug, she always does. I am so proud of my children! I have been so lucky my son is 26 and my daughter is almost 22. This will be the first Mothers Day we haven't been able to get together. I have been expecting this as I figured my children would be leaving the nest and moving away, but they are still around the area for awhile longer.

Great news since I started my new way of eating the beginning of March my bad cholesterol has dropped 50 points and is down to 179 and I have dropped 13 pounds. My nutritionist says everything I am doing is working and by taking off the weight slowly I will be able to keep it off for a longer period. I have dropped calorie intake and that does concern her because she said the less calories you eat the slower your metabolism is. My goal is 1300 calories a day with 45 grams of carbs each meal, I am averaging 1150 calories and getting close to the 45 grams of carbs each meal. So I am going to try to get my calorie intake back up, I feel like I am eating more food than I have ever ate before and she says that's what she hears a lot.

I hope all those Mothers out there has a Happy Mothers Day. Please spend time with your mother or at least call and talk to her on this special day. I will be talking to my Mother, Mother-n-Law and Grandmothers in my prayers. I sure hope they have a huge Mothers Day party in heaven.

Until next week Live Well!
