Change of plan. Now that I've decided I really do want to drop a few more pounds, I'm going to just go for it, and aim to reach 134lbs by May 1st. 134 is actually less than my true goal of 135-136, but I know that I will gain some water weight back when I start maintaining, so I'm allowing for that.

I set up two challenges at the weekend to help me keep focused. One is to lose 4lbs in 7 weeks. Thanks to all those who are joining me in that, and I hope we all do well 😀 That one starts tonight (Monday 13th May), so if anyone else wants to join in, you would need to sign up today.

The other challenge is to try an easy version of 5:2 dieting, which starts in two weeks time, and lasts just 5 weeks. If anyone fancies trying that with me, that would be nice, but I realise it's not everyone's cup of tea.

This week I got a small drop in what I think is probably real weight, and a larger drop after cutting my calories, obviously mostly due to water loss. Both are included in the weight I've posted, which is a new low, hoorayyyy 😀😀😀
62.6 kg Lost so far: 2.3 kg.    Still to go: 2.8 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.
Losing 0.7 kg a Week

Very good loss, well done. You should be able to loose 4 lbs in 7 weeks, l know it is hard work though!!

Great loss. Well done. I found the 5:2 worked well, while I was working. I didn't find it so easy when I was at home, but that was just me.

Well done Heidi! I heard about the new version of 5:2 diet too, and I also would like to lose 2 - 4 lbs maximum as a "buffer". Consequently Monday was my first 800 day and today is my second. We go away for a few days starting Mother's Day so cooked breakfasts etc will definitely feature, hence the need for the "buffer"! Will see how it goes! 😋
