Paleo Judy's Journal, 03 Mar 17

Had a lovely healthy meal at College yesterday: jacket potato with coleslaw and lots of different salad mixes - and all for £3. Unfortunately, spoilt it all on the way home by getting myself some cherry brandy and brandy liqueurs. The idea was that I would try one of each, but of course it didn't stop there. Mrs Maths calls Maltesers teasers and that's what I think all chocolates are - little tiny teasers. I'm thinking of trying my Mum's old dieting remedy to compensate. She used to put celery sticks in one jug of water and lemon quarters in another jug of water, so had celery to munch on and lemon flavoured water to drink. Think she had no meals in the daytime, but a normal meal in the evening (bit like people do in Ramadam). Anyway, I'm going to try it out and do my own homemade chicken and vegetable soup in the evening.
65.1 kg Lost so far: 0.2 kg.    Still to go: 2.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

We do seem to love to trip ourselves up, don't we? I'm lucky in that I rarely fancy chocolate so can have it in the house without risk but it's renowned for its Siren voice ..

Now that's sounds like a great idea Judy. I just love celery both raw and cooked! And lemon is my absolute favourite of all. So well done your Mum! I'm gonna give this a try to try to compensate for those ruddy teasers. To be honest, I've gone off them now cos I ate too many last week x
