Paleo Judy's Journal, 03 Feb 17

Drop of 1-1/2 lbs was probably due to only having an apple for lunch. 2-egg omelette for breakfast mean was high in protein, so meant I was not hungry at lunchtime. Dinner was prawns and half a pack of tuna nicoise salad, so that was quite healthy. Had an interview at Worcester University for an admin post in the morning and they gave me a tour of the campus, so that gave me a bit of exercise. Went off to College afterwards, as doing an IT course, so this gave me another walk. Unfortunately was not so good on the blood sugar front, as had a few chocolate almonds on the way home. These tasted unbelievably sweet to me, as I've been keeping sugar down lately. Gave me about an hour of somnolence, but my insulin must be behaving itself better nowadays, because I did manage to get a good night's sleep when I went to bed at night. For the future it may be best to keep away from sugar and chocolate as much as possible, because I don't seem to deal with them very well.

Great loss. It is amazing how sweet sugar is when you have been away from it for a while. Hope the interview went well and good luck.
