Paleo Judy's Journal, 08 Jan 17

First attempt at doing without added sugar, chocolates and crisps seems to be quite successful, as I have lost a bit of weight and, for a change, had no somnolence. There was some insomnia, but I dealt with that by eating some porridge and soon went to sleep again. Suggestion of milk with cinnamon was a good substitute for hot chocolate. Didn't get out much this weekend, as spent a lot of time helping my sons with revision for exams.

Judy that's sounds familiar..revision for exams ! I'm a women who has done more than her fair share of freaken exams..... Tip 1. Constructive revising for no longer than 50mins for an adult. Half this for a child over 7. Tip 2 After each session take a good break of an hour and go for a walk. Tip 3. Try not to have a nap between revision sessions. Best understanding happens shortly after when the brain has had time to digest it all. -so to speak. Tip 3 Having 2 good sessions every day's far better than just sitting too long with texts. All the Best for your son ✔✔✔ Of course there are many other useful tips to suit individual needs x

Brilliant loss. Added sugar has a lot to answer for.

I'm glad the cinnamon idea worked. A small splash of brandy works well with it too if you drink at all.
