Long session at gym today in penance for Christmas food-fest. Still had hot chocolate and plenty of snacks when came home.

I've come back to edit this and put in details of session at gym:

Treadmill: 55 mins at 7.2 kms/h. Said 1000 kcals burned, but of course this is rubbish! 6.3 kms of what amounted to jogging.

Rowing machine: 15 mins. 458 calories per hour. Said 113 kcals burned. After this did a few extra minutes at a faster rate (HIT).

Elliptical: 20 mins. 219 kcals burned. 0.78 kms.

Weight
15 x squats with 3 kg weights (both arms at once)
15 x lunges with 3 kg weights (both arms at once)
15 x lifts with 3 kg weights (both arms at once)
15 x bicep curls 3 kg weights (both arms at once)
10 x bicep curls 4 kg weights (both arms at once)
15 x bicep curls plus lift 2 kg weight (one arm at a time)
Pec Deck x 15 (set at 10)

Then went back and repeated weight session, so total was 30 squats etc.

Exercise bike: 21 mins. 5.37 kms distance. 58 watts power. Av heart 125.


Walking: Walked back and forth to gym and also went round shops, so totalled an extra 1-1/2 hours walking.
64.8 kg Lost so far: 0.6 kg.    Still to go: 2.2 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
Gaining 1.2 kg a Week

I hope you had a good Xmas, Judy. Was it weights, cardio or both at the gym? There's no shame in getting back to the good habits slowly as long as you get back into them. Take care!

Just about to go to the gym myself! . Cardio and. Weight. I aim to stay at leadt an hour.
