Okay, here are the end-of-July stats:

Weight: 147.5 lbs, up 1 lb from my last weigh-in, but down nearly 4 lbs since June 26, so that's good.

Waist: 32.5", down 3/4 inch!
Hips: 40", down 1/2 inch!
Thigh: 22.75", down 1/2 inch!
Body fat: 38%, UP 1 percent from June 26 - grrr!

Well I didn't hit my July goals, but I still did pretty good except for body fat % - maybe that 1 percent is a fluke but obviously no real improvement there. Also, I don't understand why I was able to save money for 3 years to pay for a trip to New Zealand, but I can't seem to stick with tracking for more than 3 weeks! Most days I average about 1500 calories, probably good for maintenance but not weight loss, still gotta work on that a bit. I am also very consistent with exercise, got in a 4 mile run this morning & I feel very healthy! So naturally I'll probably blow it at my granddaughter's birthday party this evening, LOL!

So, my goals for the next month are as follows: 1. See if I can track everything I eat for the full month. Need a big reward if I do this, maybe a new outfit? 2. Continue to increase running speed - see if I can run a full 3 miles at 5mph by the end of the month (my OLD running speed!). 3. Continue to do the Stronglifts 5x5 program, eventually moving up to the 12 lb dumbells. Also, do as much abwork as possible (yeah, I'm vain!). And finally, 4. Instead of weightloss, let's see about bodyfat reduction! I would dearly love to get below 35%, may not be doable without increasing the weight-lifting, but I'll try. Also, take another inch off the waistline (like I said, I'm vain!).
