Thanks for asking Steve. I took 10 days off LCHF. I didn't pig out or anything. Last night before stopping home, I got the ingredients to make LCHF chili for the week and brought some in to work today. My only screw up for the day will be the dunkin butter pecan coffee I am drinking now. Back to logging my foods and WILL be back at my 229.x weight by next Monday. I am not beating myself up over this.

Hey Ches...glad you are not beating yourself up...Thats the way it is when you go off...the water weight will disappear pretty quickly, I decided to just eat less and move more...the food restrictions were messing with my mind....and being prone to eating disorders I am happier now.

Everyone's support means a lot to me. I want you to know. You know what makes me happy? When I click my weight log, it looks really purty (American country slang for pretty)

Ches, are you familiar with 5:2 approach? After watching how you periodically need a break from intense dieting I'm thinking you might like that style, though you still might need to tweak it a bit.

Hey trackin. I am familiar with 5:2, thanks. I really needed the break and enjoyed LCHF and back to it now. I got lazy with preparing my foods and one day turned into ten. No problem. My mind is so different today than it was 122 days back in the beginning of the year. I am enjoying this journey.

Good for you Ches :) Know what you mean by 1 turned into 10, I don't think it's just me but as the years go by it seems like every day is"get up, go to bed with coffee in between" The days just fly by!! Oh, and Christmas and the 4th of July are only about a week apart... :)

Yeah, that water weight in and out of ketosis is a significant bounce, both ways. Best to you.
