Too much wine and sofa surfing! Interestingly, the pervious two upward peaks on the graph were after wine. Sadly this has to go!

I enjoy a wine too but it is just not worth the calories. Add to that the "kebab" effect it has on me and I'm on a hiding to nothing.

The amount of calories for wine is not so important, it is more likely the sofa surfing. There are many health benefits with some things, would you cut those out just because they had calories, I think not :)

It's not only about the 80 calories in a glass of wine as much as the the fact that its chemically similar to sugar and sets off the very same insulin resistance that can promote weight gain. Further, the alcohol prompts an appetite to mop up the acidity.

80 calorie glass of wine? Hardly worth dirtying a glass for a such a small one!
