Daily weighing is encouraging when things are going well, and informative when they aren't. I've just checked my scales with the GP's and mine are over reading by 0.7 kg, which is good news. However I'll continue to post the over reading weights from home for continuity.

No reason the doctors scales should be any more accurate than yours. As an ex NHS employee I know they buy on price rather than on quality.

The GP's scales are those big mechanical slider bar type, there are two in the practice and they are both always consistently 0.7 kg under my electronic digital scales, which I confirm as soon as I arrive home so there is little chance for error.

It sounds like your practise has good ones. Bought back in the days before penny pinching. My GP's scales are an old set of bathroom scales. Hauled in and out, 10 times a day, their accuracy are anyones guess.
