Happy Monday!

Had a great vacation. Too much food but I'm ok with that. We found a place in Gatlinburg that had the biggest pancakes and cinnamon rolls I've ever seen. We got in at least a small hike in every day. It was very peaceful and a great break from work.

I did gain about 10 lbs. Based on my BF measurement it was all water weight. I've been dropping the weight quickly and hope to be back to normal by the end of the week.

Saturday I started back on a LCHF diet. I also did a 3.1 mile(5K) training run to try to burn off some of the glycogen. I did my run in 27:49 which is my best pace so far. Going to start on the half marathon training this week with some base training runs. Upping my runs to 4 times per week with 2 times per week of weights.
103.0 kg Lost so far: 2.7 kg.    Still to go: 12.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Glad you had a great vacation. I'm sure the gain will come off pretty quickly, especially with your training regimen.

Wow. Best run pace and extra carbs on vacation? Connection?

Impressive pace -- I'm still only jogging a mile and haven't yet managed to break the 10-min mile mark (but getting close). Your vacation sounded wonderful . . . if I was forced to eat only 1 'meal' everyday for eternity it would be a breakfast (especially one that features sundial pancakes and 'cathead' cinnamon rolls)!

@tute75 - I'll be doing a half marathon in March. Good luck on your run and don't stop until you cross the finish line even if you have to walk.

@HCB - Could be related. I haven't tried that short of a run in a while.
