When I joined & weighed myself last night, it was later in the evening. I almost always weigh myself first thing in the morning, & so this morning's weight is a lot more accurate than last night's, methink. It's all good, & I'm down from the last time I'd weighed myself a few weeks ago. Not by much, but I'm still down, & that shows that the effort I'd put into things for a while now is starting to pay off weight-wise. I have noticed lately, too, that my clothes are starting to fit better, & some are getting too big. Nice because I need to lose weight & get my body down to a much better size, but not nice because I don't have the money for new clothes! haha Oh, well. I can make do with what I have right now, & I do have several clothes that'll fit better when I get smaller. So all's good! :D

In my opinion it's better to go by how clothes fit than the scale. The scale lies.

I've been refusing to buy new clothes until I get down to a single digit size. I'm around a 14 right now. When I get down to an 8 then I'll buy some pretty new outfits. I'll never be a size 2 or anything, my body just isn't built for it. But an 8 or maybe even a 6 is doable. Until then, I've been hitting up Goodwill to get me through. Belts are helpful too :) Keep up the great work!

I totally agree with you, CatHerder. I just like to see the numbers going down finally. Yes, though, how the clothes fit is a lot better of a gauge than the numbers on the scale - they can go up & down a lot, which is one reason I only weigh once a week & no more, usually. tiffa5ny, I'm not looking to get down to lower than a 14 or a 12 - for my body, anything smaller'd be unhealthy - but, yes, I also want to wait 'til I get lower before looking for new (to me) clothes. I'll be hitting thrift stores if I need new things in the near future. No point spending a lot of money on clothes if I'm in the process of losing weight, even if I could afford it. :)
