Hey Dawnie! 👋 Hope you get some relief with the plantar fasciitis. I have it in both feet. Got it trying to run at my top weight. It's better now. Rolling my feet on tennis balls helps. Gl.

PF sucks

I have had PF in both feet for 2 years straight. It’s caused me so much pain and frustration. The doc said I have a bone spur on my left heel but she doesn’t know why my feet are going numb. She’s suggesting I correct the PF to see if that fixes the neuropathy. Sounds like bs but what else can I do?

Inflammation in the feet could be putting pressure on those nerves causing the numbness. We’re going through some weird stuff with my mom’s feet due to a bone spur on the top of her foot (weird place) that caused all sorts of other problems. She’s recently had it removed, but it’s taking time for the swelling to completely disappear. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the plantar fasciitis. I had to at for almost a good year before it got better. Nothing helped me. I tried PT and bought shoe inserts made for me almost $400. Finally bought those boots you sleep in for a few months and it got better. I hope you find a cure soon!

I feel your pain! i have a spur on the back of my heel causing tendonitis and half my foot and up my leg was numb for a few months I'm making progress but it's frustrating. I got those air compression and massage sleeves that have a remote and compress your legs and feet and it has helped with the inflammation and getting the. numbness to start to dissipate

It may be caused by weak feet muscles. Try those foot wear with toes, they build good muscles in the foot. I use to get them from time to time. Now my feet is kinda beefy and I don’t remember having it anymore. If you look at most shoe design, especially running shoes they have a roundness to it. So it does the work for you it just sorts of rolls on every step. Wearing the toe shoes at first I felt very little support… or cushion. But after awhile the muscles grew and it felt great.

Thanks guys. Seems everyone is struggling with it! The night splints have always helped in the past but when I try to wear them now my toes go numb. I ordered some better inserts. Hopefully they will help.
