Ohhh no about the infection. Yikes like those rootcanals are not bad enough. Can you go to a clinic or something?

Are any walk in clinics open. If not you could call the E.R. and see what they say.

Go to urgent care. They won’t be able to fix your tooth but will prescribe some antibiotics. I am grateful to have a dentist who responds to emergencies. Perhaps it’s the receptionist who is the issue ? I can’t imagine a dentist doing a root canal, the patient having a rare reaction and then not wanting them to come in immediately.

I've been debating whether to go to urgent care. My dentist told me to ask the endodontist. The endodontist said they couldn't do anything until they see me. Didn't talk to the endodontist until yesterday, and my dentist is closed on Fridays

You know, honeebuns, I think you're right. Getting ready to go now

Oh no! You definitely need an antibiotic. Maybe go to an urgent care.

Urgent care would not help! You need to see an Oral Surgeon to drain the infection or if the root canal fractured the tooth needs to be removed. But consult with an oral surgeon is the most appropriate approach. I work in a OS clinic I have seen it all

Lusine -- I do plan to have it properly treated, but I can't see the endodontist until the 26th. I'm just going to urgent care to see if I should be on antibiotics in the meantime, and if there's any, well, urgency to starting them. I don't want to go on them if I don't have to, but I'm definitely not qualified to make that call. Just want to see what they say. Yep, did some research and know nothing will truly fix it except more dental work, but am concerned about spread until I can get it properly looked at

I was told there's now a way to block people. Does anyone know where to find it? I've looked on both the app and the website and can't find it

I think the block may only be available on t iphones for now. Not on web and not on androids. But I guess they will make an android version at some point

Antibiotics it is. She took about 2 seconds to make that determination, and there was a definite "Houston, we have a problem" vibe to the conversation. I have enough to go until I see the endodontist. Thanks, y'all for the kind words, support, and input :)

Go to the offending persons profile / home page. You may need to do it on the website and not app. In the upper right corner there are three dots. Click it and select block.

Thanks, honeebuns. I looked on the website, but must have missed the three dots

Glad you got antibiotics! Hope you feel better. I use the website, not the app. Can't find any dots to block people. Is that to block them from making comments on posts or what?

I'm not sure how the blocking works, Fritzy. It looks like if you delete comments on the app, they also delete on the website now, which is good. In the past, they would still show up on the website. Wasn't a troll or anyone abusive, just someone I didn't want to deal with
