I have been sick for the past 6 days, but finally feel well enough to go back in to work. I had retired and was ever so ready to do so but my former supervisor made bad decisions and got the company in a jam so I got recruited to come fix the mess. Since she undervalued me and disliked me, I have enjoyed some vindication in that finally she has to appreciate how much I did, how difficult it was, and that I was well worth what they paid for me. But of course she doesn't like me any better so it's not really a comfortable situation now that she's had to eat crow. I did demand and get more money to come back to both work and train my replacement (once they hire one!) but that doesn't make me eager to be there. I am trying to keep my mood in check. I retired a little early and with a little less money because I hate it there, and here I am back at it. Hopefully it is not for too much longer. It's showtime!

Good for you. Sometimes things just seem to happen in the "sweetest" of ways! Congrats on the loss too...
