🤷‍♀️ I was 216.2 yesterday morning. The only variable changed was exercise, which I know can cause fluid retention in the muscles to support their regeneration. So, I'm chalking up this small gain as a good thing. I also know that after starting strength training, the normal scale becomes more of an unsuitable way of measurement. This is the point where measurements, progress pics, paying attention to how clothes fit, and health benefits become really important to keep up the motivation. The gym I use has the weight machines marked "Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3," which is really, really helpful for grouping the right muscles in each session, while letting the others rest in rotation. Thank goodness! That means I can strength train every day if I choose to, which I just might! I enjoyed yesterday so much! My upper body is sore this morning, which is also a good thing. It lets me know that I did something right. Welp... going to finish my coffee and hit it again in a bit! 😁 Oh! On another note, today is my son's birthday & I will be helping make him a pastel de tres leches (which is only the best cake in the world!). I plan on refraining. 🤞🫰 We will see just how powerful keto REALLY is at reducing cravings and helping resisting 💩! 😂 Anywhooo... I hope you ALL have a spectacular Saturday! 😘
