Thanks, guys! 💜 I'm trying to get the diet part down pat before I start adding another variable in. I am PLANNING ON starting the gym next week. There will more than likely still be more fasting in the future, though. @YOH... yes. That's an awesome way to look at it! Thanks! 😊

Autophagy kicks in at 17 hours. With a diet that keeps you in ketosis, you don't need to fast for weight loss. If you start to see loose skin, you will want to consider weekly 72h fasts for 8 consecutive weeks (Boz).

I'm twenty hours into a 24 hour fast, I ate yesterday around 2pm. Stayed up late last night and had to fight the urge to eat something around 2am, but successfully dodged it and went back to sleep. Still waiting to hear something about the car, extra stress, but we're dealing with it. Not sure what's on the lunch menu today, I've got some Braunschweiger, might go with a little of that and some homemade pimento cheese, or fry up some hot links. So far today the knee isn't swollen, I'll take whatever progress I can get!

I had some of those sardines on a bed of lettuce, first time trying the chicken of the sea with lemon and evo, they were pretty tasty!!

@Lady... Thanks for the info! 💜 I knew it kicked in earlier on keto, but I didn't know how early. I didn't have much loose skin the last time around, but I want to stay ahead of that.

@phil... I try to go to bed at 10 p.m. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way. Good job escaping the snack monster! Yea... stress can really be a killer! I nearly have to put myself in a bubble to deal with somethings going on around me these days. Everytime I have smoked sausage I think of you! 😆Have you ever heard of using the Lion diet? Just beef, salt, & water. Some use it as an elimination diet.
