Went for my Diabetic check up last Wednesday after a phone call telling me to restart my Simvastatin. Apparently my cholestorol has taken a big jump to 5.6 from 4.3. They don't think it is down to my diet as such but after discussion with my GP over side effects of muscle pain I have been given an alternative to try. Will have another check in 2 months but this has given me a push in the right direction to do my best and get the benefits of losing a bit more weight!
