I'ts been a trying holiday season. I think that's been true for many people trying to lose weight. While I've resisted the carbs for the most part I have had several days of emotional eating. Part of that was triggered by losing our eldest outdoor cat 2 days before Christmas. He showed up at our house about 10 years ago and adopted up as his family. Then on Christmas our smoked turkey breast was still frozen so we went out to eat at IHOP. That wasn't exactly low carb friendly.
I'm also switching doctors starting in the new year. I haven't been happy with my current one as she hasn't seemed to be supportive of my way of eating. More traditional low fat/high carb mentality.

On a positive note my weight has still been trending down. I only log the weight drops. If anyone is interested in what my weight really looks like on a daily basis I can log my daily weigh-ins but it would be a really cluttered mess as my weight can jump up 3 lbs after a drop and then slowly come back down. It also depends on how much salt intake I've had.

It's almost the start of a new year. I think it's time to put the holidays into the past and move forward with my way of eating. I've been on this diet journey for almost 7 months and expect to reach my goal weight of 200lbs sometime in June. I hope to get a lot of support from the people on this site as I know my weight loss will slow down as I get nearer my goal making it more difficult to stay focused and on plan.
