Not doing great with my eating plan. Today is a new day with no mistakes in it yet. Here is some color from my yard from last night and this morning! Mr Woodpecker came for a visit as I was sitting outside having my coffee. I have never been so close to him!

Have a great weekend! I am off to work.

Very big, wifey! Largest living in North America. They are 15 to 19 inches long and wingspan up to 29 inches. 😂 This fellow is young, so not huge. Well over a foot tall, but not the biggest I've had visit. 😊

Is the bottom one a hydrangea? That’s an interesting looking variety And what a beautiful woodpecker! We mostly get flickers here and lots of stellars jays
