On a roll. Yay!! My goal for this week is a net 2 - 4 lbs loss. There will probably be a pause or upswing on Friday or Saturday because Thursday night is my pool night. Many beers / pizza / martini(s). Not too overly concerned about the potential upswing because I am happy with my current ability have a light beer daily and the scale is going in the right direction for sure. Once I stop progressing, I will make the necessary adjustments, and move forward.

Thanks Bill. I really need to be at 230 or below mark by Sept 1 to be on track.

Try increasing your fiber intake. This will help when you give into your guilty pleasures. Everyone needs to accept that we all must have a day or two get it out of our system, but remember that you have a goal in site and strive to get there. Keep coming down on the scale. Have fun.

thanks @C67241 & @jwill77nc2. I am a little embrassed and disappointed w/myself. 47 days back, I was dropping weight so nicely and then I got too confident and swung up 9 pounds. The good news however is I am not trying to violtate energy laws (calorie in / calorie out) this time around. This time, I am trying to balance everything out with a combonation of exercise and eating right vs quick fixes.

Ches, I posted this quote elsewhere yesterday. As Thomas Edison said "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” 47 days back, you discovered one of the 10,000. Congrats on rediscovering the one of the ways that DO work for you! I love your balanced and planned approach.

You could ask that they make you a pizza with thin crust and no cheese. I get a Domino's thin crust, no cheese, green pepper and onion.

@Vickie 5966, very true. The balanced approach is sooo against my go hard philosphy: Work hard, play hard, rest hard. I am open and that's why I am on this site. Not to complain, rather to get inspiration give inspiration and to get healthy.

@eddie1261 The pizza joint we go to is in the sticks. It is the best around for miles, wait a minute, there are no others for mile. LOL. I will eat light tomorrow in the day so I can enjoy tomorrow in the night.
